Esmeralda was born and raised in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. She started her managerial, sales, and marketing career with a publishing company in Costa Rica. She was in charge of marketing to large corporations including Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and Honda. In addition, she was in charge of developing presentation materials for prospective clients and training/supervising the publishing firm's new sales employees. Esmeralda has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Management Organizational Administration from Pensacola State College. Esmeralda is an Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative, a Uniform Securities Agent, and an Insurance License Agent.
After her husband, John Steele, died on February 12, 2024, Esmeralda became the president/owner of Retirement Planners. For years, Esmeralda followed in the footsteps of her husband, John Steele. She worked by his side for years and is committed to continue the work that her husband, John Steele, started.
Esmeralda and John were married for seventeen years and had two wonderful children, Anthony and Alisson. When she is not busy operating the firm, she enjoys spending time with her children, cooking, reading a good book, and traveling when possible.
